Premium art print with a glare-free matte finish. Made to stay vibrant for years. Frame not included.

Numina is the Latin plural of numen, meaning a divine presence or power. But with this figure, the divinity is open to interpretation.

The piece depicts a figure with a pale face, a deep blue body and strange golden structures growing across its torso. Numina borrows from religious iconography and mixes it with anatomy that seems to follow its own rules.

A striking piece for dark, eclectic or maximalist interiors where beauty doesn't have to be conventional.

    The story behind this piece

Numina started as part of an exploration of mythology, human anatomy and alien forms. I wanted to see what comes out when you combine elements of ancient religious imagery with something more biological and unfamiliar.

With Numina, the golden halo and ornamental structures suggest something divine, while the distorted anatomy tells a different story. I like that it's difficult to say whether we're looking at a deity, an alien being or something in between.
