A few simple rules make a pair work. Use the same size and the same frame for both, so the eye reads them as a set. Leave a gap of 5–8 cm between them, and hang the pair so its centre sits at eye level, around 145–150 cm from the floor. Above furniture, aim for the pair to cover about two thirds of its width.
